Maintenance
Your unit is designed to be low maintenance and as hassle free as possible, but even the simplest of things need a bit of love sometimes. To achieve a 25+ year life span on this unit, the owner will need to maintain it. We would recommend undertaking the following service to it on an annual basis:
visual inspections to check for ground movement, and address if apparent
visual check that unit is not under water run off from neighbouring items such as a shed or property which could accelerate deterioration
fresh coat of oil applied
check the drainage holes have not become blocked
On a quarterly basis we would recommend:
removing any weeds from the planted roof
trimming any overgrown or unwell plants
Or if you would like to enjoy the beauty of the piece without the worry, service and maintenance contracts are available on request.
Terms & Conditions
Delivery
Free delivery and installation is provided on any purchase in an MK (Milton Keynes) postcode and to any property within 10-miles from MK11 1JS. Delivery and installation will take place on one day. Site visits are not undertaken in advance, the client is expected to make the space ready for installation.
Installation
Installation will be undertaken by trained individuals employed by Marc Davies Bespoke Interiors Ltd. The client will need to prepare an area for it to be installed. This should be hard-standing such as a patio or driveway. Any request to install on an area which is not hard-standing will require a waiver signing.
Installation is expected to take half a day and will include the building of the unit and planting of the roof.
The team will not require any power but would like access to water to feed the plants prior to departure. Where possible, parking for a delivery van should be made available.
25+ Year Life Expectancy
The life expectancy is a guide, based on proper care. These units have been well-made and finished and to retain a long-life, the maintenance guidelines below must be followed.
